For Families

The child is at the heart of everything we do.

Amana Family Day Care Scheme was established in 2010 by the amalgamation of 2 existing QLECS, Family Day Care schemes; New Life Family Day Care and Carina Family Day Care, which between them had over 35 years of operation.  Amana Family Day Care Scheme is a not-for-profit community based organisation.    We are managed by QLECS and our approved provider is the Lutheran Church of Australia Queensland District.

Family Day Care (FDC) Educators can provide flexible care arrangements, including all-day care, part-time, evening, overnight, casual, before and after school care, and care during school holidays.

The maximum number of children a family day care Educator may care for at any one time is seven, with no more than four children not yet at school. The Educator’s own children are included as part of this ratio.

 Our Philosophy-2016

Our service is approved for CCB & CCR

Child Care Benefit (CCB) and the Child Care Rebate (CCR) are payments from the Australian Government that help you with the cost of your child care.
